How do I bulk change attributes in objects? September 23, 2024 09:26 Updated Scenario I want to change an attribute for multiple objects simultaneously, rather than individually for each object. Solution Make sure your BOC product is set to Design & Document (1) and navigate to the Find (2) tab. Configure the search (3) filter to display the object you wish to modify. Select them (4), by hold down the Shift key and click with the left mouse button. Right-click on the selected objects, then hover over Open (5) in the context menu and select Table (6). An editable table will appear, allowing you to interact directly with the objects and modify their attributes. Please note: This function is only available for objects. All changes are permanent! If the column you wish to modify is currently not visible, click the dropdown menu next to any column header (7) and select columns (8). This will display a list of the available attributes. Select the attributes you wish to edit and click OK to confirm your selection. To copy an attribute from one object to another, select first the attribute to be transferred (9) and copy it using CTRL+C. Then, select the objects that should receive the attribute (10) by holding SHIFT and clicking the left mouse button. Finally, paste the attribute using CTRL+V. The attribute has now been applied to all the selected objects: Related articles How do I move models and objects between repositories? How can I setup health monitoring for my BOC product?
