Local Users in a SSO Scenario October 22, 2024 10:26 Updated Scenario I ordered an SSO (Single Sign-on) Configuration by BOC, and have already some local Users in use. Can I integrate them in my new SSO Scenario? Solution Yes, you can merge your local users, with your new SSO Configuration and continue to use them. Please make a note of this request with your SSO installer or Customer account manager. The mapping is based on a unique identifier, which will be defined during your SSO setup process. This unique identifier, does not have to be your username, your user's mail address can be used as well. Alternatively, if the Standard Connector was not disabled, you can bypass your SSO Connector and login with your local user by adding ?forceConnectorType=STANDARD to the end of your URL: Example: https://adoxx.[mycompany].com/auth.view?forceConnectorType=STANDARD Example Identifier "Mail Address" Every local user has an Email Address, in the "advanced tab", this will be enough to execute the merger. If not every user has an Email Address, you can use the "User Excel Import" to bulk update this attribute. Related articles What is LDAP Mapping? What data is contained in a SIP?
