Maximum number of users reached October 24, 2024 12:59 Updated I have logged in as a user and want to access a certain scenario. While trying, I get the following error message: Currently, the scenario (...) cannot be selected as the maximum allowed number of users for this scenario is already reached and the current user is not a dedicated user. Solution This error message occurs in the context of user rights management. The composition of the license determines the available access rights. It is differentiated between Named Use and Concurrent Use. The difference is explained in the online documentation. The same procedure applies for all BOC-products. In order to use a certain System-Role in the web client, the Scenario has to be assigned to the concerned user. If all available scenarios are already assigned, you will receive a message, that the maximum number of users is reached. There is the possibility to reorganize scenarios. You can remove the concerned scenario from one user and assign it to the intended user. If you don't want to change the existing assigned scenarios, but rather extend the number of available scenarios, please contact your KAM. Restructure users Steps Description Picture 1. Login to the Administration-Toolkit with your administrator rights. 2. Open the User Management. 3. Choose the concerned user, whom you want to remove the scenario. Under Scenarios/Named users double-click on the intended scenario. 4. Once the button Change is applied, the change is saved and a Named Use Scenario opened up.
