Where Is My BOC Cloud Instance (SAAS) Hosted?

The information provided below applies to all versions of ADONIS, ADOIT and ADOGRC.

Which data center providers does BOC use?

A BOC product hosted in the BOC cloud (SaaS) is typically hosted on either Amazon Web Services (AWS) or CloudSigma (CS). In the event of a major outage at either AWS or CS, we use an alternative location at AWS as backup. 

How can I find out where my BOC product is hosted?

Enterprise Edition

You can identify where your account is located by checking to which IP address your assigned domain name resolves. For example, if you access your SaaS account at https://customer-pp1234567.boc-cloud.com you would perform a DNS lookup for the domain, using the following command on a command prompt: nslookup [URL to your BOC product]

Example:

C:\Users\johndoe>nslookup customer-pp1234567.boc-cloud.com
Server:  Dc01.Contoso
Address:  10.1.2.3

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    services01.boc-cloud.com
Address:  178.22.70.230
Aliases:  customer-pp1234567.boc-cloud.com

If the IP address in the DNS lookup response is 178.22.70.230, your account is hosted in Cloudsigma/Switzerland otherwise it is hosted in AWS/Germany. 

Other Editions

All ADONIS Starter Editions (ADONIS SE), ADONIS Community Editions (ADONIS CE), and ADONIS Academy Editions (ADONIS AE), as well as their ADOIT counterparts, are hosted on CloudSigma (CS).
