Unable to Change User Rights Despite Access to the Administration Toolkit

I am an administrator of a BOC product and need to administrate users, but even though I have access to the Administration-Toolkit, I am unable to change the rights of users.

Solution 1:

First check is your administration component settings. If you want to administrate the rights of users on models and/or objects, you need access to the User Management component.

Please log into your Administration Page with main Admin account of your BOC product.

Steps Description  
1 Navigate to Rights (1).
2 Select your user (2) and then navigate to the Components tab (3). Check and verify, if your user has access to the User Management (4) component.

In order to change users' access rights, create users, change their details or delete them, you need access to the User Management component.

Solution 2:

If are still unable to administrate other users, please try the following steps.

Please log into your Administration Page with main Admin account of your BOC product.

Steps Description  
1 Navigate to Rights (1).
2 Select your user (2) and navigate to the Users tab (3). And check, if you have access write access to the Folders and Users (4).

Make sure that you have Write rights to all the folders and the users inside of them. If you not have Write rights, then the system won't allow you to change the settings.
