Restore deleted models and objects in BOC hosted environments July 02, 2026 12:49 Updated OverviewIf a model or object has been accidentally deleted in a BOC cloud (SaaS) hosted environment, it can be in some cases restored from the latest available backup. This process requires coordination with the BOC Support Team a possible downtime and confirmation from the application owner.Restoring a repository object is currently a resource- and time-intensive process. Therefore, this service is provided as a one-time goodwill gesture. Please note that repeated requests may be subject to additional charges. Prerequisites You must have permission from the application owner before a restore can be initiated. A recent backup must be available for the affected model. Steps to restore a deleted model Contact the BOC support team and provide the name of the deleted model and the approximate time it was deleted. Confirm authorization with the application owner. The support team will require this confirmation in written form, before proceeding. The support team will attempt to restore the model or object from the latest available backup. Verify the restoration by opening the model or object and confirming that the correct version has been recovered, including all expected content and structure. Additional Details Restoration is performed by the BOC support team and cannot be self-served. Only the latest available backup can be used as the restore point.
